
His experience includes compliance with FDA, USDA, and TTB laws and regulations; alcoholic-beverage licensing and compliance among all tiers across multiple jurisdictions; collaboration in acquisitions, leasing, service contracts, distributorship agreements, and other transactions; partnership in corporate matters; and civil litigation.
Brian writes frequently about the laws and policies affecting food and alcoholic beverage companies. He authored FSMA on the Farm, a comprehensive legal handbook designed to assist agribusinesses determine the extent to which FDA food-safety rules apply to their operations. His scholarship has appeared in Journal of Food Law and Policy, and he is a frequent contributing author in Beverage Media.
Before joining Danow, McMullan & Panoff, P.C., Brian held legal fellowships at Yale Law School and at Harvard Law School. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in business law and policy. During law school, Brian was an editor for UCLA Law Review and a judicial extern to the Hon. Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He earned his B.A. from University of Washington.
